OUR SERVICES
Harmony Behavioral Services offers clinic-based, direct 1:1 therapy for individuals experiencing behavioral and developmental deficits. Clients will be assessed by one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and will receive an individualized treatment plan curated specifically for their needs. Treatment will primarily be conducted by a team of our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) while BCBAs provide daily supervision and support.
BCBA's will also provide regular caregiver support. Caregivers are strongly encouraged to meet with our clinicians regularly in order to maintain active involvement in their child's progress. Along with caregiver collaboration, our BCBAs welcome a team-based approach and are always open to collaboration with other providers you and your child may be working with. This may include pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, coaches, tutors, and more!
WHAT IS ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based practice that has been scientifically proven to remediate deficits often associated with autism spectrum disorder.
This form of therapy seeks to use reinforcement-based strategies to help teach learners in a way that is unique to their needs. ABA is used to help individuals learn socially appropriate and naturally integrated behaviors, while reducing behaviors that may interfere with learning or one's quality of life.
Kelly Lasley, mother of two autistic children and our Operations Manager, talks about the importance of getting services for your autistic child.
what makes harmony different?
We believe that children with autism need quality early interventions, but we also believe that kids need time to be kids. Our services are structured on a half-day schedule so that your child still has time to attend school part-time, attend other therapies, play with peers & enjoy time with family. We truly care about the well-being of your child & your family as a whole.

OUR FOCUS
We strive to celebrate the unique abilities of all individuals and to better understand the incredible world of autism, while also helping individuals with autism understand the world around them. Our high quality programs prioritize the values and goals of the individual and emphasize meaningful skill development and close collaboration with caregivers and families.
Our priority is to build the foundations for developmental skills by creating a positive and encouraging learning environment, and incorporating a variety of individualized teaching methods, specifically applied with your child in mind. For example, age-appropriate social, play, communication, and adaptive skills will often be taught using play-based and peer-mediated techniques. Additionally, individualized education may occur in a private classroom, as well as in the natural environment.
Our commitment to providing high-quality care and empathetic, compassionate support for you and your child is what sets us apart from others. We understand the challenges families may often face day-to-day, and we are here to support you. Harmony Behavioral Services values the relationships between clients, caregivers, siblings, and peers, and we seek to include all throughout your child's therapeutic journey.
